Proudly Palm Oil Free

Elia soap is a traditionally handmade cold process soap.  Poured and set in birchwood moulds, cut into bars and air cured for a minumum of six weeks.  It is very simply wrapped or boxed in recycable card and tied with a jute twine.

Elia soap is a natural product and is palm oil free.  It is made from olive oil, coconut oil & shea butter, with added cocoa butter and avocado oil for firmness and some castor oil for added bubbles and lather.  Grapefruit seed extract or Vitamin E is added as a natural preservative.  A touch or sparkly natural mica powder for colour and a blend of essential and fragrance oils for a beautiful scent.

As this soap does not contain any palm oil it can be slightly softer than commercially made or handmade soaps with palm oil.

To get the very best from your soap bar you should allow it to drain between uses and in very humid conditions the natural glycerin in the soap can attract moisture from the air which may make it feel a little oily.  This is an entirely normal reaction from a natural handmade product and does not affect the gentle cleansing and moisturising properties.
